OooRah! My son is a Corporal in the Marines. Couldn’t agree with you more wholeheartedly. He was a high school honor grad and went straight into the Corps. Besides the fact that he couldn’t wait to be one of the “best of the best,” he was using his smarts as always, and figured on letting the military pay for his college later on.

ROTFL – Someone’s gonna have to help me up. I think I split a rib laughing so hard!

Oooooh – Anne’s been dipping into the till…now there’s a concept for a fireworks finish to Queen Weenie!

Your surmise makes the most sense. I was racking my brain…something about TJ has a source of income that he hasn’t gone into detail about? At any rate, if it’s not like what you said, I was thinking maybe TJ bought out the place and now he’s Queen Weenie’s boss!

I think when TJ said “opposite,” Ann, who egotistically considers herself beautiful/uber intelligent/witty etc., takes into account that the opposite of herself as a female would be a male. Thus the explanation of her comment, “He…” But I wouldn’t put it past her to give it a doubleminded reference of calling TJ gay.

@Amazing Grace: As a Christian, I too agree with your concern of the seemingly unsupportive view of marriage as presented in the Scriptures that the strip appeared to offer this past week. But would it have been more merciful to have limited your “attack” to that rather than the person of Evans? At first read, it came over more as gossip than an appeal to his conscience. Thank you, though, for taking a stand for the high standard of Christ which will always be a stumbling block to the world.

Hooray for LLABDDO and his wife! Well said, well spoken. My better half and I will be celebrating our 33rd anniversary this week. He overlooks/accepts so many of my idiosyncrasies. If he were to start listing them all, he’d never get to work, and we’d be out on the street in no time!

Oh! Too many great comments! I especially like Orinoco’s – well said, well quoted.

@GrogYES! You’re absolutely right – it was “grups.” Please excuse my senior moment.
