Not everyone finds that “normal and innocent.” If any teacher had put their hands on me, the whole school would have heard me yelling, “Don’t touch me!”
You’ll stretch pretty hard for an insult, eh? I assure you that “venerated” is not what I have been made to feel over my lifetime, nor have I claimed any sort of mantle. But it doesn’t seem you’re here to have a discussion so much as to be ugly to others. I hope you got whatever you needed from that, but I’m done. Spew on if you must. ;-)
Society has given me plenty of messages about how I should shape/present myself (generally based on what pleases men). The natural state of my hair is gray — a big no-no for a woman. So, yeah, I have had similar experiences.
Not that I think it’s a competition or anything. I just don’t need you mansplaining things that you have zero experience with.
