This is one of my favorite strips along with WD. I usually don’t post a comment because by the time I read it (8pm west coast) everyone has already posted long ago. I am not at work today, so I decided to post a comment.
The first time I did laundry after I got my cocker pup, I found him in the clean laundry. That irritated me enough. But when I discovered that he had peed on it too, I made sure that he was never near the laundry again (clean or dirty).
We do secret Santa where I work. The last few years I exchanged names so I got the same person the last 3 years. I know exactly what to get her. She has no clue that I didn’t really draw her name.
A few years ago the head of our IT dept sent an e-mail to the entire company about how stupid the people in accounting were. He even mentioned some by name. The thing that irritated me was that he sent an apology e-mail to everyone, but stated that the reason for apologizing was because the top guy told him he had to. Not really an apology if you have to be told to do it.
I was taught to call be people Mr or Mrs with their last name. When I went to work, one of my co-workers was my neighbor that I knew from the time I was 5 yrs old. Her name is Mrs Roux. Of course I called her that to the dismay of all the other co-workers. It took me a while to get used to calling her by her first name.
