Definition of Non Sequitur (the name of this comic): sequence of reasoning that misses or skips over a key part, making the conclusion invalid.Anyone who even bothers to explain this is missing the point. It’s supposed to not make sense.
A: this comic has nothing to do with any of this, butB: it does illustrate the concepts being floated here. The problem with socialism and communism is that they are systems FORCED on people and generally misused by those in power. Here in the comic, the characters are giving because they want to, from their hearts. If more people had that generous spirit and gave what they could to help each other, it would work quite nicely. Greed stops it and is the real problem.
Good response. This comic is about what to call a bedroom and I went off topic. My comment was meant to go in a long thread about cancel culture, wokeness, etc, and I mistakenly put it out here where it is out of context. Thanks for calling it out.
Unhappiness can be a temporary response to a negative situation and may take time to “think” oneself into happiness, the preferred choice. Choosing to stay unhappy can also lead to depression and might now need meds, which may have been avoidable.
Maybe beating the h#ll out of you?
