So sorry to hear this. It is hard to lose our furry friends.

Very nice tribute to a very talented man, Scott. Thank you for getting it out so quickly.

Funny – I worked as a contractor for a government agency, and when I asked my government cohort how many people worked there, he said, “About half the people half the time.” Found out he wasn’t wrong…

    Two dogs – one hole!!

No, that happened after the flood. Fermentation was unknown to them prior to the flood.

I always heard it this way: Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean that they aren’t out to get you!!

I think this is a reference to George Orwell’s Book “1984”. Based on the original dates of the strips leading up to this, it would make this one January 1984. Even so, Big Brother is still alive and well today…

Interesting thought given in the Book of Enoch (not part of our standard Bible but has some interesting ideas) is that the adult animals brought their babies to Noah for inclusion in the Ark. This makes a lot of sense. Babies would not take up a lot of room so you could get more diversified kinds of animals on board to be saved. Also, they would not be procreating while on board as they would be too young.

My first schnauzer would throw the first piece of kibble of the day into the great room, go pick it up, throw it back into the kitchen, then eat it and its bowl mates. I figured she had to ceremoniously kill the prey once a day! Weird, but cute… :)
