I worked for KMart fresh out of high school in the stockroom and we started to get the Back to School sale items in at the end of June and stored them until August….now instead of storing them the stores are just selling them as they come in!
LOL…My Niece was in choir and her best friend and fellow choir singer was a young man of African heritage who was a great kid. Well the choir went to Disney World and my sister was a chaperone over the group my niece and her friend was in..The were lined up to ride The Tower of Terror ride and he was goofing off and suddenly when they were near entrance of the ride he yelled “No, I don’t wanna ride this now! I just remembered the brother is always the first to get it!” and everyone started laughing….or so I have been told.
Actually they are carried by several large stores, I’ve seen them at Lowes, Walmart and Home Depot in the last few years. Those that environmentally minded still like them as well as those that hate buying gas. I would love to use one but my yard is too hilly to use one…
Nope back in 90 to 93 I worked in shipping receiving at K-Mart and we got back to school stuff in April and started putting it out in late June so that is normal.
See what you all don’t know is that when you buy the printer you are actually buying it for less then what it cost them to make it. They make money when you buy the supplies which is why the “starter” cartridges you get with the printer are 1/4 full. I work for one of the printer manufacturers and it boggles the mind when you find out they sell the printers for a loss. as for the laser printer toner being cheaper it is much much cheaper you can figure 35 to 50 cents to print each page on an ink jet printer and 3 to 7 cents a page on a laser printer plus toner is a powder that doesn’t dry out like ink jet cartridges do…….
