I agree with georgelcsmith…our LuLu does it so naturally, for ages, and with no food in sight. She wants to be noticed and see what’s going on. We don’t encourage it tho’ but she is lean and never gets people food. It’s just her m.o. Our other one, Odie, lays on his back all the time…that’s his m.o. We call it ‘ballsup!’ He can’t sit on his hind legs to save himself.
