   although, of course, because Linus claimed he never heard Lucy “honk”,i.e., tell him to get out of the way, makes you wonder just whose fault his accident was—hey, it could have been both their faults-his, out of carelessness—not watching where he was going, and Lucy’s, for not “honking” at him. Of course, knowing Lucy, how she always was about her little brother throughout the half-century of Peanuts’ run, she could well have run over Linus and made him lose his hat, on purpose. Poor Linus. Still, I happen to notice there were times in winter, when he would go without a hat, even while making snowmen, while Lucy would wear a hat, so what did he have to lose, by ending up bareheaded;it would not have hurt him, at all, in that respect.

   poor Linus—he always had to get lorded over, by older sis Lucy, and even walked over, like here, of course, literally, walked over. He must have been so cold, after losing his hat, then getting cocooned in Lucy’s snow,for her snowman, that once he went inside, he would have taken a nice, warm bath, to warm his cold head, as well as his cold self, in general, lest he catch cold and the sniffles, over Christmas vacation. He would not have wanted to get sick for New Year’s,either.
