Perhaps what was meant was a Volt-Ohm-Meter or VOM. An EMF meter typically measures electromotive radiation, such a from power lines and other voltage sources that are emitting it. The most used EMF meter for ghost hunting is the Tri-Field meter that can measure radiated electrical emissions across a variety of frequencies. The meter is a real piece of test equipment and perhaps, unfortunately, has been embraced by the more science-oriented paranormal investigators. As much as some of you don’t believe in ghosts, I have had experiences that defy explanation. And, no, I don’t believe in all the gimmickry you’ll see on the ghost shows. My only tools were a digital voice recorder and the Tri-Field meter. Think what you will.
I have a 20-year-old Craftsman with a B&S engine. I think I’ve changed the oil twice and put a new plug in once. It still starts on one pull. That’s unfortunate because I really would like to have an electric mower; however other than ‘I would like one’, I have no reason to ditch the gas mower. And, please, no comments about harming the environment with gas fumes and CO2 – lithium battery disposal will be a bigger concern.
lemme see… I’ve caught a nuisance raccoon, a cat, a mother with babies opossum, and a ferret. I let the cat go (it was my cat), the ferret I adopted out, the opossums went to a trapper who lets them go in the wild, and the raccoon I took to a nature preserve at 4 in the morning. As of late, no more varmints.
