Let me see if I can explain it this way. Capitalism is creating the opportunity for people to find work, to earn money so they can afford to purchase things which are necessary to survive. Those who create jobs are the likes of Vanderbilt and Rockafeller which you seem to have issue with. With a strong economy (jobs) the money will be there to spend, thus creating a cycle of people buying things, companys having to replace those things people buy, and maybe having to hire more people to make more things. That is Capitalism. Making the rich poorer does not make the poor richer. Remember what Kennedy once remarked "ask not what your Country can do for you, ask what you can do for your Country. Those words seem to be lost on our current Administration.
How about opening the borders to EVERYONE, feed them, give them free medical, a free education and to pay for it we should tax every working American 70% to 80% and that will take care of all our problems. THAT will make us a compassionate nation. And if that doesn’t work, lets go back to what made this Country the greatest ever known, CAPITALISM. (don’t have a hissy fit Benson) I know you don’t like the C work. Sorry
Those idiot Republicians think that a Moderate canditate like Romney was the answer to our problems. Even though he is a successful businessman and would have been more successful in creating more jobs in this country than Obama, he has alot of money and that is bad. No one should have more money than the next guy. As long as we can borrow enough money to give people food stamps and welfare checks we will be fine.
Let’s see where was I. Oh yes, I was running of the defecit to $16,000,000,000,000. (and counting) unemployment at around 8%, stealing over $700,000,000,000 out of medicare (sorry old folks), failed foreign policy, hiding a disaster in benguazi which claimed the lives of 4 americans, trying to tax the ugly rich americans out of their big bad money they don’t deserve even though it may cost jobs to lower and middle class americans, 4 years of gridlock with our legislative branch because they want to keep this country from going socialist. Thank you, slightly more than half the country for allowing me to continue on my merry way. xoxoxo
Cartoon boy needs to show respect for out next President. Our country is in deep trouble and the fact that Benson is not aware of this is very concerning.
