Well, I agree with everyone should do some form of service but that just lays the current “It’s all about me” on folks who need to get things done. I too have noticed the thanks for your service doesn’t touch their heart. Acknowledging the sacrifice goes a step in the right direction. Course that sacrifice was one of the best things I ever did for myself – including Vietnam. As a country we are on a journey to places we’ve never been and hoped we never see. Now that’s an adventure!
