Ever notice the only one in the comic strip who is always unlikeable at the office and a goofy dad is Barney. And good old Clyde is the lovable and wise homeless person. Is it because the writer Gene Weingarten is a reliable liberal? I can say this as I have been reading his weekly column in the Washington Post.
