    My dad had a small box of near mint coins dating all the way back to the first quarter of the past century, most from his birth year, 1926. Pennies, and all the silver denominations, including at least a dozen silver dollars. My mom one day took them to the bank and deposited them for safe keeping. That may have been the most hot I ever saw my dad.
