   I know when the woodpecker wants a peanut, because he clings to a post near my back door and makes loud sounds. I hear woodpeckers all over the neighborhood, very distinctive chortle

   I am personally sick of reading comics that have a social and political agenda. Put them on the editorial page and out of the comic sections.
