I’ve been reading Alley Oop for over sixty years. I am a progressive, I am continuing my studies in new fields all the time, (currently I’m working on understanding the causes and outcomes of the Civil War), but good is good and bad is bad. Change is only good when it’s good. This ain’t.

I don’t like the art. Not good.

  3. almost 6 years ago on Herman

addendum, I blew the math. Dick Cheney is ONLY 3 million, 195 thousand, 400 times as likely to be at risk of causing you bodily harm…NOT 3 billion etc.)

  4. almost 6 years ago on Herman

I forgot to include the death of American soldiers: 4424 war dead as of 2008 and 31,952 wounded. Why do I bring up the wounded? Remember that guy Dick Cheney shot in the face while on a quail hunt? So I guess the real question should be which would you rather serve under, (see what I did there?), Kennedy or Dick Cheney? Chances of dying 442,400% higher under Cheney, (the real president during the war), Chances of getting wounded, 3,195,300% higher under Cheney. (That’s 3 billion etc. folks!) I guess it’s all in how your ideology acts on you. It either shapes you or it controls you. See what I mean?

    MUCH MORE DANGEROUS!!!

  6. almost 6 years ago on Herman

Let’s see Kennedy death toll: 1 Cheney death toll, (in Iraq alone): The human cost of Bush’s war: 1 million dead. 4.5 million displaced. 1 million to 2 million widows. 5 million orphans. You’re right, Kennedy was MUCH

Damn Sam! Learn something new every day!

  8. almost 7 years ago on Jeff Danziger

Let me understand. Refusing to testify under oath in a duly constituted court of law, authorized by the constitution and the laws of the land is…ETHICAL???

  9. about 7 years ago on The Middle Age

From what I can see, I’d say she is fontastic.

  10. about 7 years ago on Flo and Friends

You should have attributed that to Mark Twain. It’s clever, but t’aint yours.
