It is humbling to admit that I didn’t know what steam punk was either until I saw a booth at the “Dickens on the Strand” festival in Galveston a few years ago. Since then I’ve read a few books and there was recently an interesting 5 episode reality show about a competition between steam punk designers. Still, it just doesn’t seem to get much traction with me. And this is coming from someone who wears costumes to the Renaissance festivals.

The local Halloween shops in our area could use an adult section for some of the employees. Am pretty sure that all you need for employment is a pulse since you only get to work for about 90 days. Some of the costumes worn by the employees of both genders is pretty risqué.
Man … I just log on to read the comics. For the liberals above, I offer the following two suggestions. First, take a look at the wealth of the Democratic Leadership and how they interact with “just folks.” Second, take a sincere look at the platform of Dr. Ben Carson and identify the parts with which you can and cannot agree. This country reach greatness with power swinging back and forth between conservative and liberal ideologies. Th left is very much in power now. Are you SURE that it isn’t time to swing back towards center? I have lived in Europe and I have no desire to see that culture reproduced here. Turning back to the comics, wouldn’t be awesome to have an “overboard” event?!
