Sounds like the last job before retirement I had at a small supermarket chain. Another employee and I shared the IT department, which included computers, in-house programming, website, network, cash register systems, video surveillance system, and anything electronic, along with all repair and maintenance. So one day I went to work and was told by my boss, “I fired the other guy so you have to do both jobs.” I worked 50-60 hours per week for the next ten years or so and even got an occasional vacation.

My boss made Rita look like a philanthropist.

Brainiac 3.14159265…. Call him Pi for short, and not because he looks like he’s been eating a LOT of pie.

Yep, years ago. Center of the chest while she was trying to get to the feed between two other horses. Lucky for me, no lasting damage.

Hence the smiley at the end. He doesn’t look like Palpatine at all. However:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bly1M4VFoVk&ab_channel=StarWarsClips

I recognize the beady eyes, the nose and that chin. It’s Emperor Palpatine. :)

When my daughters were lots younger, I coached a girl’s softball team. Practices started in early spring. One day started out sunny and nice. By the end of practice it went from sunny to cloudy to raining to sleeting and finally a snowstorm.

    Great memories.
