Well, in the 5 years Wally was living out in the world, he was limited to how far he could walk.No powered transportation to increase his range of exploration.Meaning he most likely never left access to water, and would not likely have gone walking in a straight line to nowhere.Being on foot would have limited his wandering range quite a bit.If there is recovering ecology beyond the range a man on foot can walk…How would anyone have known?
Wonder if thats how the people in Albion west were killed? They saw dozens of topsiders, so started shooting wildly…and killed one another?Theres been mention that dittos go feral/hostile if not controlled.
Its quite possible they turned on one another.Theres been plenty of clues that food has been running out, plus the constant stress of worrying about topsiders finding them.Add the normal tendency of humans and mutants derived of humans to engage in dominance hierarchy struggles, and limited and confined space in which to live…And you have a lot of potential for things to go very wrong.Could have been topsiders too.But I’m betting its more likely mass cabin fever rage.
To me, it looks suspiciously like the topsiders have managed to tap into the communications for the city..And then managed to hack their way into controlling the ruling council.Doesn’t mean they could find the city… Just evesdrop on a leaking signal and backtrack it.(How does Endtown control the snooper robots that are posted for sentry duty? Or talk to the other survivor cities?)
I’ve been suspecting this for a while, but we’ll see.
Is it a kaibo…or a tardis?
