Well, that’s not true at all. The Republicans aren’t the ones discussing forcing people with natural immunity to CoVid to get vaccinations…Nor are they the groups saying that a fetus is not a human life.

They’re picking and choosing the science with which they agree and decide to promote that. But, that’s not an R/D thing. That’s a HUMAN thing.

You do realize that governmental policy can seriously impact supply and demand, which creates inflation, right? It may not be solely his fault, the Fed’s low interest rate policies are partially to blame. But, to be fair, it’s not just Biden. Trump’s mercantilist policies bear some of the blame as well.

1- overturning Roe v Wade =/= banning abortion. Their goal is to make it a states based issue per the 10th amendment. The states that have the harshest controls on abortion never outright banned it. You’re jumping to conclusions.2- Can you name one republican that wants to make women literal property and repeal the 19th and 13th amendments, taking away their right to vote and making them slaves. I’ve only heard that line once. It was Dean Martin in the original Ocean’s Eleven. No, I’d say the real radical republicans are pushing for the repeal of the 17th amendment and a return to senators appointed by state legislatures, as well as a balanced budget amendment.3- Which republicans are calling for the US to create a national church?4- Which republicans are calling to outlaw all vaccines? In fact, the right has generally be supportive, but skeptical of the effects of mRNA vaccine technology used in the CoVid 19 vaccines. They feel that they were rolled out too quickly, but by and large that hasn’t stopped them from getting vaccines. Statistically speaking, minorities are the groups least likely to be vaccinated in the US, and based on the government’s history of experimenting on them can you really blame them?5- Which republicans are calling for an end to all science instruction in the US? What it seems is that both parties are trying to claim science as their own and claim that their opponents are anti-science.So, again, where is your evidence for making such bold claims? It seems you’re painting with a rather broad brush and would be outraged if the shoe was on the other foot.

Nitpick much? I didn’t say that the US was in the treaty of Versailles. What I did say was that Wilson was looking to flex US political clout on the world stage. You didn’t address the main theme of my comment. It seems like you’re focused on addressing tiny details because you can’t address the point of the response, namely that the Republicans aren’t the war-mongers people are making them out to be. I’m honestly not really a GOP guy, but I think you’re painting with a rather broad brush and trying to get hyper-focused on details to make up for your stereotyping.

That’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this works!

Great point. I think it was just a matter of timing and how long it would take. The question I have is if we had planned to get our presence out by 1/1/22 when the fighting season was months away, we would have ample time to evacuate our forces and the civilian refugees who helped our forces.

To be honest, we need to stop occupying and nation-building. It just doesn’t work out for us.

I can’t think of any US GOP representative who wants to outright ban abortion, or make women chattel, or “reject science” wholely (as if that were a thing), create a state-sponsored religion, or outlaw vaccines.

There are some on your list that have merit, but when you throw the others in I don’t know if you’re coming from a place of reason and looking for genuine discussion, or just hyperbole.

China isn’t targeting the Uyghurs for ethnic cleansing because they are Muslim. They are targeting them because the Uyghurs look different, speak a different language, have a different cultural identity, and are fiercely independent. It’s not about religion, it’s about enforcing conformity and uniformity even at the barrel of a gun.
