Someone was out walking in my neighborhood and heard a cat calling. They found a sick, dying cat on a sidewalk in the rain. The cat’s elderly owner had died, and the people who bought the house threw the cat out. I am older and I have no intention of leaving a situation like that behind.
Tarkus, I went through that, and I didn’t say what you said but I was just as angry. What a selfish thing to do, to adopt a cat knowing it will outlive you and just assuming “someone” will take it in after you die.
Bets doesn’t have to be jealous or clingy to see the writing on the wall with Luann. She’s smart to assess the situation and get out before becoming further invested.
This could all be a “comedy of errors” leading up to Luann and Gunther finally realizing their feelings for one another, but it sure can be an irritating journey.
This seems like a trip down memory lane that isn’t going anywhere good.
