“No there does not exist “a vast number of educated scholars and historians who completely disagree with this statement of yours.”
Yes, there does…..whether you choose to acknowledge it or not

“The Bible is a complete myth built on the aggregation of multiple scraps of text that differ in time, story, and context.”
There exists a vast number of educated scholars and historians who completely disagree with this statement of yours. But you are free to believe whatever you want. Good day to you

“I see no point in arguing with someone whose best response is, “Were you there?” Case closed.”
Who’s arguing? You made blanket statements and I took you to task on them. No, I did not see those things happen either, but I have no reason to doubt them just because someone like you claims they can’t or couldn’t happen. However I have seen enough evidence to convince me there is substance to what is written in the Bible, both as history and coming events. If you want to disregard it that’s obviously your choice.

“there CANNOT be evidence for God, therefore why should we believe in Him?”
The correct question would be …what constitutes ‘evidence’ of the existance of a divine spirit being? Since humans and their world are limited to flesh and bone (animal, vegetable and mineral), they cannot define the rules of what is or is not evidence of intelligent life existing in realms outside of humanity. It is the greatest arrogance to suggest that humans are the sole epitome or end all of intelligent life

“The moon does not emit light. Stars cannot fall to Earth.’
First of all, your reference here from Matt. 24:29 is a prophecy which describes events that haven’t happened yet but will. So you have no basis yet to claim it can’t happen.
“Snakes cannot talk. Humans cannot live in the belly of a fish for three days.”
And you know this because you were there? Your drawing conclusions based on what science knows. But the clear point from the Genesis account is that someone was appearing to make the serpent talk, as in a ventriloquist. That was obvious. And as far as a human living in the belly of a fish, how do you know? How many people do you know that have been swallowed by a fish? Some sea mammals have very slow digestive systems (guess you never saw “Jaws”)
“And pointing out that ancient Jews had a ritual of handwashing before eating is a far cry from demonstrating that they understood germ theory.”
This statement alone shows just how little you know about what is written in the Bible.

“all of whom were suppressed or pressured by their various religious leaders”
I’m defending the Bible, not religion. My responses are based on what the Bible actually states, not on what religion claims it says
“Hebrews 13:5” ???
I think you meant Heb. 11:1. “faith is the assured expectation” – or confidence in – “the evident demonstration of realities” – convincing evidence – of things unseen. There are things in nature we can’t see or touch but we know they exist….air and gravity for 2
“Sin is the creation of Christianity”
That is also incorrect. Sin was first referred to long before Christ or the nation of Israel (Jews) walked the earth

Actually I have been reading it very closely for decades, not just skimming over it and then misquoting it like some are inclined to do

The nation of Israel lived among warring nations and was used as an executionary force on cities and peoples that had been judged by God and aptly warned. And these were wartime battles, not massacres. However they were given specific directions as to when, where and how these actions were to be taken.
As for slavery, the term as used in the Bible had a different meaning than is used today. A more appropriate term would be indentured servants. Those taken captive in such a way were well taken care of, paid for their work and given their freedom at one point or another. The law gave specific commands as to how they were to be treated.

“Why does everything have to have a beginning?”
If you stand outdoors and take in a 360° view, every single thing within your field of vision had a beginning, including the dirt you’re standing on. So why is it hard to accept that the universe had a beginning?
““The origin of Christianity, a gentile religion, starts with a Roman Jew of Greek extraction named Saul. Renaming himself;f Paul he used the stories of Jesus to support his new Religion and sell it to gentiles.”
Wow…..!?!? You just lost any credibility you may have had with that one sir. Romans 1:22
