I think at the time this originally “aired”, there wasn’t a fall break. Now there is a week or so around end of October/beginning of November, iirc. When I was in uni in SK I had no fall break except long weekends like thanksgiving until Christmas break which was usually about 2 wks. Then no break until reading week (aka "s*icide week) in February, and that was it for designated “breaks”. I remember writing a final exam on the Saturday of the Easter long weekend in April one year.
As the oldest in a large family, I got to “mom” it for several of my siblings. Only my youngest sibling ever came to me asking to sleep in my bed though…
There was a time in history when many people, male as well as female, were prodigious diarists-this is often one of the source materials used in the study of historical events. Many famous historical generals kept diaries of their time in various wars/battles, for example. Also, many political leaders.
