    Well, if you’re going to be an idiot about this: the hex version would be 11AE. If you turn it upside down like we used to do for silliness (like turning 1134 on a calculator into to hE11), you get a logic qualifier symbol statement that could read “there exists for any that is 1, 1”. I don’t know if that was Mr. Coverly’s intention, but if you are going to be that picky about a comic strip ….

    If you look between the 1st and 2nd panels, usually you’ll find a date or year of the cartoon. In this case, it shows 1987.
