This may have been said but for those of you unfamiliar with soap operas Paisley may not know that Sugar Cookie/Bandit is the father of the kittens. She may have been led to believe they were (umhmm) conceived with someone else, the paternity tests were intercepted/forged, these kittens were switched at birth with others, she’s been told Bandit is unable to father kittens, and so forth….
Lola is named after my great grandmother and because I thought it was a good cat name and fit her. My rainbow cats: Oreo was named by kids and he was a big black and white cat. Sweetheart by someone also not very imaginative. Samson because I liked it. Cosmo from Seinfeld. Nikita I think by a roommate who liked the song. Duna was a mostly black tuxedo and Duna means dark or black in some language. Lola and Samson were the only two I named.
A Slightly different audience .. Most of the students are gone and I was one of the oldest and non-parent people there! We are the home of Animal House however!
Saturday the college showed The Grinch on widescreen. I’ve seen it 50ish times but never on a big screen. It was great. I recited all the lines to myself. The original of course. I work at Dartmouth College, Dr Seuss’ alma mater.
In the US Abraham Lincoln in 1863 set it as the last Thursday in November, Franklin Roosevelt moved it to the 4th Thursday and it became law in 1941. Of course back then it was not the huge event it has become.
I work for a college and the music the students play at athletic events and coming from the frats are very 70’s & 80’s heavy with smattering of 60’s. These are people born in 2003 and after.
