    I would understand my wife BETTER if she would only turn around and speak to

    ME instead of the dishes in the sink , or the clothes in the closet, or the

    neighbors who she is looking at out of the window….

    Surprisingly almost ALL of my Ship Mate’s down at the V.A. therapy pool say

    My favorite Christmas memory is of when I put a rather large firecracker in “Santa’s” kettle….

    It blew the ill gotten gains all over the street…

    The look on the "Santa"s face was priceless…

    I wasn’t on a chain gang for nothing….

    My grand kids and family all just shake their heads at grandpa’s stories…

    My Father was in the Navy and had thirteen tattoos….Of all my immediate family (sisters, nieces , nephews, sons,) I am the only one who was in the Navy (three years at sea – 7th fleet , home ported in Japan)and I am the only one who doesn’t have one.

    And at eighty years old I have no intention to ever get one…..
