It’s been about 40 years since I’ve heard “mistake on the lake”. Doesn’t apply much anymore.
As for Watson, he certainly hasn’t been worth all the money, but their problems have been more due to multiple injuries on the o-line than him. (They had to move their all-pro guard to tackle. Plus no Chubb.) He’s had no time to throw.
They had a good team with very crappy QB play, so they took a big risk. Isn’t working out, but I can’t blame them for taking the chance.
Of course they include food. Besides, including food would make inflation numbers LESS. Most food prices (grocery, not takeout) are back to pre-pandemic levels (at least in my grocery stores). I’m paying the same prices for meat, fruit, and milk that I did 5 years ago. Coke and Pepsi went way up, so I switched to RC. Somehow, RC’s cost of water and corn syrup didn’t go up, but Coke and Pepsi’s did !!??
Please cite the “correct” stats that contradict my “lies” in the 1st 2 paragraphs. The last paragraph, admittedly, is partisan and somewhat alarmist. (Trump might turn out to be swell benevolent statesman who loves everyone in the whole world more than he loves himself in his 2nd term.)
And the Cleveland Crusaders (Barons?)
