My granddaughter wanted to dig the cat up & bring her too, but I think the grave was too shallow. Something (cat, raccoon, ??) had already dug it up. I told her something like it would be wrong to disturb her remains. She still doesn’t know the actual truth.
I have a rock in my living room (~4×6×2) that my 5yo grandson found in my yard about a year ago. Note: there a LOT of rocks in my yard. It has been many things. A dinosaur bone, a pirate hoard, a Super Power Ranger Morpher. I also have a rock in the flower bed by the front door that his sister painted and used to mark her cat’s grave. She was 8 and we had to bring it when we moved a couple of years later. Rocks are important.
YES!! I ordered a pint of H-D coffee from Wally, but they were out and substituted Dulce de Leche. OMG. Epiphany. Trumpet fanfare. I’ve never looked back!
As the mother of 3 lactose-intolerants, I can vouch for the fact that they will eat cheese. Although a true dairy allergy can be life-threatening, lactose-intolerance apparently only causes stomach cramps, flatulence, and spousal eye-rolls.
