I’d say Home Alone, but that’s too lowbrow for Caulfield.

Love the title of Gunther’s book!

I told a friend I sometimes confuse eschatology with scatology. He said, “That sh*t’s going to be around till the end of time!”

Kids do need it, though, to get to school and recess. I need it myself because it’s hard for me to wake up in the dark.

TWO hours?? You want the sun to come up at 10 am?

Some years ago, I had to travel to Hawaii on business (yes, really!). I had scheduled a teleconference. Then I realized it was going to be after the time change (first part of November), so I rescheduled it. THEN I realized there was no time change in Hawaii anyway…

Exactly! Unless you’re a toddler, you’re *supposed to trick-or-treat in the dark.

At the cost of the loss of so much daylight in the morning. I hate trying to wake up in the dark. And I used to hate sending my kids out to the bus stop in the dark.

I’d be okay with DST if it were really just half the year, like when I was a kid. Eight months is way too much.

  10. about 2 months ago on Baby Blues

Maybe that’ll teach you to work together in future.
