AR-type rifles are very popular for hunting wild hogs in the south, for hunting coyotes and other varmints in the west—-the list goes on. Be aware, as some seem to not be, the the right to keep and bear has nothing to do with hunting. As for need…did Rosa Parks “need” to sit in the front of the bus? It’s not a question of need. It’s a constitutionally guaranteed civil right, whether you like it or not.
