   I find all of this pretty stupid when consideration of everything else that is going on around the world. Just pay attention to the news but foreign and domestic. The world is headed for some bad times and this is what commands attention?SAD

   Let me add some comments regarding the battle flag. Of all of the things I can think of that is most horrible slavery would be at the top of the list. However, I had family that fought and died under that flag and they did not own any slaves or very little else. Many fail to realize or admit the War Between the States really started out over States Rights. Yes, slavery was a strong issue but not the only one. Slavery became the only one after Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation. He needed that to insure he could continue to obtain men for the fight. He waited until Antietam, the Battle of Sharpsburg as it’s know in the north, was over to issue it as Lincoln needed a victory to do so. However, the battle was really a draw militarily. The shooting was done by a bats*&t crazy person. PERIOD!

   Your “cartoon” is quite over the top when one considers the response from the vast majority of the citizens of South Carolina. Sure, there are crazies everywhere with causes, real or imagination. Using the CSA battle flag for your style of racism is uncalled for. All lives matter to start with. Have you thought of that?
