    The version we had in the late 50s was this: “Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, a Fuzzy bear was he. He sat upon the railroad track; the train he did not see. Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear.” Some even said Fuzzy was not Ursus but a Wooly Bear Caterpillar.

    My Miss Kitty had thyroid radiation therapy. The vet’s office told us to have an old t-shirt of mine in her carrier, as comfort. She was to be there for several days. Odor, aroma – presence.
