Humanoid Martians ( Barsoomians ) emerge fully grown and ready for combat and all other duties.Since the Princess Dejah Thoris can bear children of Captain John Carter, and also has all physical characteristics of human females, one must assume that over a million years ago during the height of Martian science, genticists were able to make the required change that released the females from the burden of Eve
