Marcie’s “How much farther do we have to go?” is particularly funny if you look back over the sequence of strips. She and Patty have been been gone overnight, and still aren’t there yet.

When I was in elementary school, we took a field trip to the local sewage treatment plant (seriously). The smell was so bad, I got sick and threw up. So, I feel Sally’s pain.
That last panel is just aching to be changed to “But they sure can put away the booze!”
