It’s doable, but not necessarily easy. You really have to be good at the voice acting and working with others can be tricky. But you can have the feeds for the other actors going into your headset while recording so you can react appropriately. This got a lot more traction in 2020 for some reason. I think they still prefer the actors to be “in studio” for most of the work these days, but it’s still doable from home.
I could almost understand OBD scanners, but the “big ticket” type items are the ones that get me. “You just bought a $3k freezer – surely you want to buy more freezers now” and the like. OBD scanners are still up there in price, but maybe you got a dud or one that didn’t work the way you wanted.
This is sadly far too accurate. I was much less annoyed/stressed when I stopped tuning in to the “news” on radio or TV on a regular basis. Same for social media. :)
Way back before chips and all that, someone pretty obviously “adopted” our young cat for a month or two. Pretty sure she was fed, taken into a house, and escaped a while later to run back to us at 2 or 3am. She yowled, scratched the door, etc. We were really glad to have her back and that she was just taken care of for a time, but it should have been obvious at least by the flea collar that she was “taken” and not abandoned or anything.
And yes – I’d say that these days people just aren’t really aware of chips and such that can be scanned for determining details about the pet in question. That doesn’t excuse just taking one in that pretty obviously belongs to someone else, though. :/
The problem was when they tried to reach you about your extended warranty…..
