   A good friend of mine lived next to the town cemetery. He had his family plot all arranged, & two weeks ago today he moved next door.

   I don’t think his behavior is out of disrespect, but a sign of his mental condition. I witnessed the same type of functioning in my Dad in his dementia before he passed. When he would be faced with an activity that was “new” to him, he would repeatedly adjust his glasses or check his watch; the repetition was obvious to anyone. I think those actions gave him a sense of normalcy in an unfamiliar situation.No, I’m not a psychologist, but facts are sometimes painful things.
