Just wait to they get President, and 51% plus in both chambers, they will then pack the Supreme Court, which will in turn declare that according to the 14th Amendment to the Constitution the office of President must be directly elected. Laws must be uniform, hence congress makes them, voter registration is done with a default for the party, thus more fairly ensuring everyone gets to vote whether they do so, or not. And then …

Higher Math might have very different meanings to different people. Some would consider Algebra higher math, while some may or may not include partial differential equations as such (though most probably do). A former Professor, and later a good friend of mine, spent many years pushing NY State not to lower the mathematics requirements in high school. He believed, if you didn’t offer minimally a couple years of algebra, and a year of geometry, your future pool for engineers would drop drastically. He wrote many letters to the editor (New York Times), got a few in print, too.

basic arithmetic is very helpful, it helps with intuition, helps build up logical thought process, and helps get ball bark estimates for many things. Calculators are tremendously valuable tools, I’ve seen it get to the point, where students are entering memorized sequences of key strokes with no understanding of exactly what they are instructing the calculator to do, or why it would compute the correct answer. Later on if they forget the sequence, or have to use a different calculator, they are literally stuck.

Best fit for the evidence. They were paid to see the movie, and their take nearly covered the cost of the ice cream. By the time they gobble down the ice cream no one is going to want dinner, a net savings at that point, and the kids crashing from a sugar high by the time they return home saves wear and tear on home and parents, providing for some recreational time for the parents. Naturally it doesn’t work as Wanda crashes from her own sugar high. Nice try as Darryl thinks as he falls off to sleep, he’d need to get a bigger car anyway.
