My parents’ idea of fun when I was a kid: Let’s go to the State Fair! But we’re not going on any rides, we’re not going to buy any food or drinks, we’re not going to see any exhibits. But hey, we’ve been to the State Fair and you should be grateful!
I rarely read any of the comments because they are so harsh, no matter which characters are in the current arc. C’mon people, it’s a comic. These are made-up characters! It’s supposed to be entertaining and not something to be taken seriously. (But personally I think Bets should try to be less bossy and controlling and Gunther needs to grow a spine!)
My husband’s grandson is a “Petey”. Last time the family visited I struggled with a menu that everyone would eat since they’re all fussy eaters. I settled on hot dogs one night and make-your-own tacos another night. Well, I chose the “wrong” taco shells, and “Petey” doesn’t like the skin on hot dogs so he spent the entire mealtime peeling his plain, bunless hot dog.
I agree with Rick Williams. Less Sedgwick and more Monty. I don’t mind so much when they interact together, but when it’s just the little spoiled brat & his poor overworked manservant, it’s usually not funny.
If the hammer doesn’t work, try duct tape. If that fails, unplug it for 30 seconds.
