   Husband and wife are celebrating their 40th anniversary at the restaurant where he proposed.    I’m not sure why I keep reading that hunter numbers are down. It certainly is not the case where I live. Not only are hunter numbers up, but more and more people are moving here. Montana is FULL, I hear North Dakota is nice.

   I hunted for many years. Always loved being out in the mountains and forests, seeing the game, etc. As I’ve gotten older I still like getting out there, but could care less if I shoot anything. I’ll leave that to the younger folks.

    I like winter for the reasons that I love to ski and the tourons are generally gone. I do hate the short, dark days though. December sucks.
