    To your point about American’s being stupid. I saw many clips of voters saying “I am voting for Trump because of his Christian values.” The reason that Trump won is that people live in bubbles of misinformation that defy any shred of reality.

    Theoretically true! In practice it has been the executive branch that has been governing in absence of congressional action. Given the dysfunction of congress and the blatant truth that they will never be able to govern at this point, seems like the experts working for the various agencies are better decision makers than the courts at moving governmental along. Now it is up to congress to write the law enshrining their incompetence and granting agencies the power to regulate in lieu of the courts!
