When my husband was born there were some complications and my mother in law was in the hospital for two weeks. They didn’t have insurance and ended up selling their house to pay the bill. That was back in 1949.
I understand how you feel. I’m diabetic too and try to take care of myself. However this is a hard time if year for me because of some of the candy. I just have to be determined. Working in a hospital I have seen what happens to people’s toes and feet from diabetes. Not pretty.
Two of my grandkids had theirs taken out. More because they were so big it gave them problems with the way they moved their tongues and it was affecting their speech.
My basement actually has a lot of light. I have a plant down there that’s been there 6 years. It’s still doing well.
