   I’ve noticed an unsettling/interesting kink in the GoComics format that may explain why the number of comments seems wane at times:

   Apparently, if you’re not signed in, your (previous) comments will not appear.If you’ve cleared your cookies, then come back to the Comments section, your previous postings are not there. But sign-in and they appear.

   I assume that nobody keeps FA as an open tab all the time, so does this mean that GoComics has set some kind of persistent cookie that keeps you logged in even when you’re not on the site, but clear the cookie, and what…?

   I don’t have the resources to, say, sign-in on one PC while monitoring from another.

   Can someone else try that and report back?
