That is arrogance talking – if the US constitution doesn’t include healthcare, then it can’t be a right for any “civilized country”. Now that makes me sick
Those (rich) Canadians went to the US for specific issues that they felt could be treated more quickly in the US; because they had the money, they went. The article is not relevant to a comparison of single-payer, universal healthcare and whatever system the US currently uses. Faulty logic is a large part of the problem.
Science Digest is the same magazine that tried to give legitimacy to spontaneous human combustion, UFO’s and so on! The earth’s axis is very slowly migrating but it will not make the big dipper look different. If that were the case, just changing your position on the earth would make it look different. The stars in the dipper are so far away that it looks the same from anywhere within our solar system. Also the southern hemisphere is warming at the same rate as the northern – moving the axis can’t have the affect you describe.
There is plenty of energy available to move water through its natural cycle. The problem is there is too much energy as carbon dioxide is trapping heat – that is climate change and man is largely responsible for the issue.
How about a wall. And the fishermen will pay for it.
