   Fine, call it 3 1/2, but I think it’s pretty clear that they’re talking about the additional time from the end of his current program, not from today. His current 2-year program ends in June 1996/2025.

   Mild spoiler- Mike is wrong about the 4 years; it’s actually 3 more years. This strip originally ran on December 15, 1995. He finished his current term in the Spring of 1996. Three years later, on June 11, 1999, we see him graduating with a Batchelor’s Degree.

   I don’t see it that way. A misogynistic statement would be a generalization of women based on stereotypes. I think snsurone’s was specific to Elly based on her previous behavior.

    We can’t even get rid of the penny. We keep coming up with new designs for the dollar coin, but nobody will spend any of them- they only collect them. $2 bills are so rarely used that some people think that they’re fake. It’s madness!
