I saw the movie after reading the book as well, I thought it was a pretty scary flick! I know what you mean though, if they put all the good parts of a novel into the film it would be 12 hours long : ) I remember reading about the animal shaped hedges moving closer to you every time you looked away, so scary! Not in the film unfortunately if I remember correctly.
Gross! Our golden did the roll in what I assumed was something that had lived at one time, and I could barely stand the drive home (windows wide open!).
Hey as I looked at panel 2 I had a flashback to the Mad magazine paper backs we read as kids. The over the top parodies of movies like Jaws, or TV series like All in the Family. My brother and I’s favourite was One Flew Over the Cukoo’s Nest.
