However, there is a Dax Stokes who is “…an academic librarian and professor with an interest in Dracula; the folklore vampire; and vampires in popular culture. He frequently lectures on these topics in the North Texas area, where he lives with his wife and three children.” He has a podcast “The Vampire Historian.”
Hmmm… The dire wolf is an extinct Pleistocene predecessor to modern wolves, so a dire chicken would have a similar relationship to modern chickens. Mebbe that’s what Kerwyn is, a dire chicken!
The new coffin was revealed in an incomplete state at the 2012 Nightmare on Chicago Street in Elgin, IL. The completed new coffin was debuted on 7 September 2013. The old model was retired and donated to the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago. (https://youtu.be/RIYuAsfaSFA)
The face on the new coffin is Body Sorrell, a skeletalized version of Sven with the voice and personality of Buddy Sorrell.
