Earlier this week, i went into the backyard barefoot to do some Emergency Dog Wrangling™, and as i was looking down to make sure i didn’t step on any prickle plants, i noticed one particular clover patch had a couple four-leaf-clovers in it. After picking them and Wrangling The Dog™, i went back out to see if i could find more; at first i thought i had found four more, but on closer inspection one of them turned out to be a five-leaf!
After Wrangling The Dog™ again today, i found another fourteen.
I couldn’t quite think of what Elton John’s glasses looked like, so I googled him, noted that he was wearing a different pair in each of the suggested photos, clicked on his Wikipedia page, and now I have open the Wikipedia pages for Guam, the geographical centre of the US, and the Spanish-American War.
As far as I know, cheetahs are the only exception to this rule: they make small-cat vocalizations like purrs and chirps rather than big-cat vocalizations like roars and chuffs.
(This second fact is unrelated but fun to learn.)
They are also an awfully anxious species and a coalition of them can work themselves into a collective panic if they don’t have their Emotional Support Dog(s) with them: I’m kinda anxious, but Wag-Wag-Bark-Friend is calm, so I guess everything must be okay, and I can be calm too.
haven’t had a good cackle like that in a while!
