Are you sure he fired with any accuracy? Maybe he was aiming for the forehead. (Need to go back. I assume it was right arm attached to car. So just using the left hand to get the gun out of a holster worn to be used by the right hand would have been quite a trick.)
I’m finding this Marty Moon too much of a departure from the past. He was always self-serving, but sometimes he could be half-way kind and on occasion was shown as a frenemy with Gil. Until now he was always reasonably intelligent. He knew how to generate good publicity. This Marty Moon has an IQ about half of the usual version.
The 111 brains examined had all submitted because brain injury was suspected. No brains were examined where there was no suspicion of injury. Football is not safe, but the ‘statistics’ by uncle Creepy are bogus.
One of the things I liked about the Jack Berrill strip was the way you could relate to story line. You knew the athlete who was socially inept, kid with little talent who worked hard to make team, peer pressure, broken homes, the uncertainty of first love interest… You saw the students grow during their high school years – some maturing and some becoming worse over time. There were parents concerned about safety of sports, but creepy uncle who seems to have an agenda of wanting to turn his nephew into a meal ticket is story outside box for me.
“Sorry, but you’re over-qualified for the position.”
