We have FIVE cats in a townhouse. We have a litter robot on the main floor and two “manual” boxes on the top floor, which has worked well. The robot cleans itself and is emptied once a day. The other boxes are scooped once per day. I love the robot enough that I would replace the upstairs boxes, but the outlet locations are not ideal
Glad to hear you’re on the mend. I had a similar experience 3 years ago. Went to my doctor because I had shortness of breath, he sent me to the ER immediately. Blood clots in both lungs, one blocking my heart from pumping blood into my lungs to get oxygen. Heperain to break up the clots and sent me home with blood thinners. 3 weeks later back in the ER with the same symptoms- eventually diagnosed with CTEPH (an extraordinarily rare form of high blood pressure in the lungs). Only 2 places in the country treat it – Philadelphia and San Diego. Luckily, I’m close to Philadelphia. 3 surgeries later, they have done what they can and I’m on specialty/experimental medication to slow down the progression. Never ignore symptoms and take action when something is “off”.
I also miss Skykey and his daily installment of storytelling. :( I think of him often and this comic reminds me of the concern felt when he dropped off the radar.
