Different Andorra – the one the color is named after is a tiny city-state in the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain. Napoleon’s response when aides suggested he conquer it was, “No, it’s better to keep it as an anachronism.” In the movie “The Great Escape” James Coburn was one escapee from a German World War II prison camp who hiked alone across Southern France and walked into Andorra through an ancient city gate where he met up with antifascist Spaniards who helped him get home.
I love Cat-Man. He’s like the town – um, well, one Pluggeristic ex-boss described as colleague as “in an alternative lifestyle.” Kind of like the assistant coach in “Evening Shade.” It’s what I might have been had I never left my home town and became a famous therapist and political strategist.
