Dodgeball SHOULD NOT be banned. It was fun, and built character. We used rubber balls, and no one ever got hurt.

Dodgeball built character though, and toughened you up! I wasn’t a bully, and I LOVED playing dodgeball in 5th grade!

I love discussing politics, BUT NOT HERE! Leave the politics OUT OF CALVIN AND HOBBES! Maybe you voted for Hillary, maybe you voted for Trump, but we both like Calvin and Hobbes, so let’s keep this place as somewhere we can COME TOGETHER! PLEASE!

Excellent point! Prageru recently made a video about it. I don’t think there has ever been a bigger generational gap between parents and children like this is today. My life growing up in the 70’s and 80’s wasn’t EXACTLY like my parent’s lives growing up in the 50’s and 60’s, but it was a lot closer than my son’s life growing up in the Internet age is to mine. My son’s life at 15 is practically NOTHING like mine was at 15. Our parents more or less had society on their side. With the Internet, your child can refute just about anything you say, and with “expert testimony” no less! It seems like society contradicts, via words and actions, everything my wife and I tell our sons.

Gee, remember when people even cared about having a child without being married? Society has gone from arguably judging far too much to not judging at all. One extreme to the other.
It reminds me of an Ex-President (not who you are thinking though) and one Ex-Senator who is also an EX-United States secretary of state who wanted to be President, but lost the election. So please do me and everyone else here a HUGE favor and keep politics out of our beloved Calvin & Hobbes comic space. We come here to share a common love for a wonderful comic, don’t ruin that by injecting politics into it. Please.
